However, why did we join together and build Topet? It almost did not turn out that way. The story begins with Samira growing up in nature and falling in love with animals. Because of her major in computer engineering, she decided to turn a technology into a solution that would benefit animals..
Therefore, she enrolled in veterinary school and graduated with a doctor of veterinary medicine degree. She then started gathering a team to help her achieve her dream. To make the world a better place for animals!
At the time, the three friends were working from home. They were under pressure to make a success of their new startup and had only their pets to keep them sane.
Sparked by the realization that the technology they’d been working on could be used to improve the health of pets, they decided to take a chance on their big idea. The problem was clear: the veterinary industry was far behind the technology curve, and there was no easy way for pet parents to take control of their pet’s care.
Upon developing the product, they quickly realize they need a marketing and customer manager to build relationships with veterinary clinics. This is where Fatima comes in and Topet born.
